Bowdoin Wildlife Refuge Announces Late Season Upland Game Bird Opener

Attention hunters: This year the late season upland game bird season will open slightly later than usual (on a weekend) in an effort to encourage youth hunting. The late season upland game bird hunt, in the eastern portion of the Refuge, is scheduled for December 6, 2014 and will last until the season closes on January 1, 2015. The first two days (6-7 December) of opening the eastern portion are designated for youth hunters aged 12-15 only. All youth must be accompanied by a non-hunting adult 18 years or older.
