One Nation, Under God

Loring News for week of November 19, 2014

The temperatures have really plummeted this week. Some of the low temperatures were below zero, and some days the highs were in the single digits! I think this week will be warmer. We have a nice covering of white, my estimate is about 4 to 6 inches. The wind has blown, of course.

Such excitement with the new house coming to town! It went onto the foundation just perfectly on Saturday with the help of two cranes! So exciting for the Clark family!

Cindy Clark,Whitney Blunt, Carol Lumsden and Dixie Stordahl were at Paula Morrison for Lutheran bible study on Wednesday.

Loring Woman's Club will be meeting at Carol Lumsden's on Wednesday. It is a dinner meeting so bring your husbands! Paula Morrison is cohosting. The guys can play cards while the ladies have their meeting and then we'll all play whist!

Dixie Stordahl traveled to Hinsdale with Mary Waters, Betty Jo Compton, and Dee Shettel on Saturday for a special OES meeting.

Dixie Stordahl took Barbara Cowan to Glasgow for appointments on Thursday! The roads were just fine!

The Independent Baptist Church will be meeting at Loring on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in the Loring Hall. Chad Wisher will lead the service.
