Annie Terwilliger Celebrates 90 years Young

On October 11, 2014, in the Great Room of Hi-Line Retirement Center, a luncheon buffet was held to celebrate Annie Terwilliger's 90th birthday. In attendance at the luncheon were her daughters, Norma Coulson and her daughters, Stacey Hammock and Janetta Bowery from Cheyenne, WY along with her daughter Nancy Terwilliger-Grube from Missoula and her daughter Deanna Crawford and son-in-law Bret Lewis from Darby. Her sister Alma Hickel and her daughter Patty Hickel made the trip from Colusa, CA. to help Annie celebrate. Sister Maryona Cornell, husband Howard and son Pete from Lo-ma were in attendance. Nephews Mark and his wife Sue Hungerford (Malta) along with Terry Hunger-ford and his friend, Dawn from Bozeman, were there to be with Annie on her special day. Leonard and Margaret Leader, special friends and neighbors for many years helped make the day special. Bev Comstock, one of Nancy's best friends, from Billings attended to help Annie celebrate. During the luncheon Pete Cornell sang Red River Valley, a favorite song of Annie's. This was followed by individu-als telling special memories of Annie.

The Celebration continued with an Open House from 2-4 in the Hi-Line Retirement Dining room at which Annie had an opportunity to see and visit with many friends. Annie's granddaughters, Stacey and Janetta, and niece Patty served cake and refreshments to guests while her granddaughter, Deanna and her husband Bret cut the cake. Nancy had made a quilt top which served as a guest book and was signed by people attending the Open House. The quilt will be completed and serve as a bed-spread and have be a reminder of Annie's Special Day
