PC 4-H Shooting sign-ups

The PC 4-H Shooting sports sign-ups are open and will continue until November 3. Youth must be 9-years-old as of October 1, 2014 to participate in archery or air rifle and 12-years-old for pistol. Malta youth contact Kay Harms at 658-2210 to sign up. Saco youth are to contact Eugene Salveson at 527-7104 for air rifle or pistol only. Saco youth wanting to participate in archery will need to travel to Malta to do so. The season will begin on Sunday, November 30 and all forms and fees must be paid prior to the youth shooting.

Angel Program Applications

Applications for the Angel Program can be picked up and returned to the Malta Food Bank. You must provide proof of assistance at the time the application is returned. Applications are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays during regular Food Bank hours and must be returned by Thursday, November 20. Please remember only clothes and shoes will be purchased, no toys.

Fat Man Basketball

11-5. Fat Man Basketball will begin Wednesday, November 5 and will be held on Wednesday and Sunday nights at the Old Gym starting at 7 p.m.

Malta Merchants Meeting

11-5. Malta Chamber Merchants Meeting at noon at Stretch’s on Wednesday, November 5. Everyone is welcome to attend.

PC Library Book Discussion

11-6. The Book Discussion Group will meet on Thursday, November 6, at 7:00 p.m. to visit about the book, “In Open Spaces” by Russell Rowland. Anybody who has read the novel is welcome to come and discuss it.

VFW Auxiliary Meeting

11-5. The VFW Auxiliary will meet in Wednesday, November 5 at 7 p.m. at the Post Home.

Malta Chamber Business

After Hours

11-6. Malta Chamber Business After Hours will be on Thursday, November 6 at 6 p.m. at the Great Northern Lodge. Everyone is welcome to attend. Please call the Chamber office at 654-1776 for more information.

11-10. Phillips County Historical Society Meeting is Monday, November 10 at 7:00 p.m.

Senior Class Parents Meeting

11-10. The Malta High School Senior Class Parents Meeting will be meeting to plan the All-Night Party on Monday, November 10 at 6 p.m. at the MHS Cafeteria.

11-11. The Malta City office, shop and landfill will be closed Tuesday, November 11 in observance of Veterans Day.

Veterans Day Music Concert in Whitewater

11-11. On Tuesday, November 11, at 2:30 p.m. in the Old Gym, the Whitewater School music students will present a Veterans Day Remembrance music concert.

Former PC residents in Billings

11:22. A no host coffee gathering for all past and present Phillips County Residents will be held at Off The Leaf Coffee Shop, 819 Grand Ave, in Billings, Saturday, November 22 from 1 PM to 4 PM. Please come to get reacquainted with many former Phillips County people who now live in Billings. All Phillips County Residents who will be in Billings that day are invited.
