Harriers X-Country: Results from Malta, Frazer and Culbertson meets

The Dodson/Whitewater Harriers fared well at the cool, windy Malta meet on Saturday, the 13th. Jeret Warren placed 16th with a time of 19.02. Jeret was the tenth Class C male athlete to cross the finish line. For the Junior Varsity ladies, Senior, Jacina Doney placed 4th with a time of 26.23. Jacina thought the wind was a killer in places and is looking forward to improving her places and times. For the Varsity ladies, Dodson's Shawnee KillEagle ran her first race of the season, placing 45th with a time of 29.31, and Teal Martell placed 50th with a time of 32.37. Jacina took 2 minutes off her time from the Wolf Point meet, and Teal took 2 ¾ minutes off her time from the Wolf Point meet. Great job ladies. Dodson's Coach, Francine Stiffarm stated she is excited about the good group of girls and she couldn't ask for better. The Harriers will be competing in Frazer and Culbertson next week.

On Thursday, September 16, the Harriers took to the field in Frazer. For high school men, Jeret Warren placed 14th with a time of 19.18. For the ladies, Jacina Doney placed 29th with a time of 27.58, Shawnee Killeagle was 35th in 30.31, and Teal Martell rounded out the team, finishing 39th with a time of 34.13.

Saturday, September 18, saw the team at the Culbertson invite. Jeret placed 8th in 19.01. Lady Harriers Jacina Doney placed 23rd with a time of 29.37, Shawnee Killeagle was 28th in 30.42, Teal Martell was 32nd in 35.15, and Whitewater's Jessica Anderson ran her first ever meet, finishing 35th with a time of 38.0.

Saturday, September 27, the team will travel to the always competitive Glasgow Invite.
