Save those Box Tops, local schools are collecting them

The students and staff of Malta Elementary School are asking the public to once again help save special coupons, which benefit the school’s activities and programs. For several years, the school has been collecting Box Tops for Education coupons found on such products as Cheerios cereal, Betty Crocker mixes, and many other General Mills products.

The Box Tops for Education coupon is about one inch in length and often found on the front of the box and towards the top. The Campbell Soup Company also offers a coupon program to help schools. On the back and at the bottom of each soup can there will be a very small red label known as Labels for Education. This coupon will be printed next to the black UPC seal.

Remove the soup label to cut out the UPC code next to the small red Label for Education. The school asks that you only send the UPC seal and small red coupon. Please do NOT send the complete soup label. During past years the school has earned $700 from Box Tops for Education. This money was used for art and incidental school supplies.

Funds earned from Campbell Soup Labels for Education are used for various rewards and treats for the school’s good behavior program. After collecting the coupons please send them with your child to school or drop them off at the office. Malta Elementary School thanks you for your continued support.
