Brenda Reynolds new science teacher at Malta High School

Malta High School welcomes Ms Brenda Reynolds, one of its three new science teachers. Brenda comes to us from Kalispell, MT, where she worked on a large ranch and also taught high school science.

She reports that she was raised in southern California and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in zoology from Humboldt College in Redwood, California.

Later she attended the University of Colorado at Boulder where she completed her Master of Arts degree in science education. She completed her student teaching of high school science near Denver, Colorado. She now replaces Mrs Demarais and will be teaching such courses as earth science, biology, and AP biology.

Ms. Reynolds enjoys the outdoors and is very involved with running, swimming, horsemanship, and cycling. She and another faculty bike enthusiast, Mr. Engebretson, can often be spotted very early each morning biking for fifteen miles or more before class time even begins.

Ms. Reynolds reports that writing is her real passion and she has written stories, articles, and poetry. If all goes as planned, her first book on horsemanship will be out this December. We wish you well in your teaching and writing, Ms. Reynolds, and we are glad you decided to come to Malta.
