Dorothy Broadbrooks

SACO-Dorothy Broadbrooks, 78, retired custodian from the Saco Schools, died Thursday, Au-gust 14, 2014, in Malta.

Visitation was Tuesday, August 19 at the Kirkwood Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 20, at the Saco Assembly of God Church. Interment will be in the Grandview Cemetery at Saco. Condolences for the family may be left at http://www.kirkwoodfuneralhome.com.

Dorothy was born Feb. 11, 1936 in Malta, the daughter of Leo and Barbara (Hyde) Klotz. She was raised and educated in the Wagner and Green Acres area. She married Jack Broadbrooks on Dec. 3, 1953. They worked the ranch in the Saco area and she work as the custodian in the Saco Schools. She later worked in housekeeping at the Seeping Buffalo. Dorothy enjoyed gardening, garage saling, antiques, working on her home and having coffee with her neighbors and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son Chad in 1990 and husband in 2000.

Survivors include her children, Greg (Leonora) Broadbrooks of Saco, Randy Broadbrooks of Miles City, Monte Broadbrooks of Saco, Becky Kolstad of Miles City, Debbie (Kerry) West of Marion; brother, Leo Klotz of Chouteau; sisters, Clara Drabbles of Malta, Peggy Stanford of Washington; 14 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
