Frances E. Larson, age 89, passed away August 2, 2014 at her home in Yakima, Wash., of natural causes. She was born October 26, 1924 in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. The daughter of Aurther and Julia Etta Schlieve. One of seven siblings: Art, Robert, Shirley, Ruby, Lorraine and Gary. She married Art Myron, and had two children, married Jim Larson and they had two children settling in Yakima, Wash.
Frances was a World War II Veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy. She worked in the Pentagon in Washington, D.C.
She loved gardening, playing banjo, traveling and old John Wayne movies. Her family was precious and she was a loving Mother.
Frances is survived by her son – Jeff Larson of Yakima, Wash., Grandchildren – Vicki, Patty, Dennis and Tonya. Ten Great Grandchildren and three Great-Great Grandchildren. Also survived by her siblings – Robert Schlieve, Lorraine Watson and Gary Schlieve: many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents – Art and Julia Etta Schlieve; Children – Tom Myron, Karen Scheible and Charlene Larson; Husband – Jim Larson. Brother – Art Schlieve, Sisters Shilrey Kirkham and Ruby Kroll.
Her ashes will be spread over her children’s graves. She will receive Military Honors at Graveside Services in Sunnyside, Wash.
