One Nation, Under God
Many people gathered at Trafton Park on Saturday as all nine children and spouses and grandchildren and great grandchildren, other family and friends came to help Wally Henry celebrate his 90th birthday. Coming the farthest were the twin grandsons, Danny and David who came from Florida and Alaska, respectively. David , and Danny, and Shorty Henry and daughter Laura of Augusta stopped to visit Dora Henry and family in Dodson and share ‘growing up times’. Wally, Shorty and Pat Henry are the only surviving members of a family of 14 children and are brothers of the late Elmer and Jack Henry of Dodson. Pat, who is the youngest brother, was not able to come from Washington because of recent medical problems. Dora’s children here for the occasion were Bill and Marilyn Henry of Havre, Steve and Judy Henry of Laurel, Art and Sandy Henry and grandson Challen of Havre, her daughter Teri Leys of Belgrade, granddaughter Kristi Wilson and great grandkids Keith and Kortni of Whitehall. Teri, Kristi and kids stayed several days to visit in Dodson. It was reported that the storm of a week ago Thursday that had high winds and hard rain her hit north Havre with terrible black clouds plus the rain and high winds and that a small tornado hit east of Savoy, which makes it awfully close to Dodson. Give thanks for a good day. We send birthday greetings to Tammy Voice this week. Start a new diet—no more eating your own words, swallowing your pride or putting your foot in your mouth. Farmers are finishing harvesting, school supplies are out in every store, kids are leaving for college, so fall is coming. What happened to summer? It was hardly here.
