NE Montana Nonprofit Arts Education makes a new home on the Hi-Line
ArtSpot, a nonprofit arts education organization formerly located in Glasgow, MT, announced today that a new board has been appointed and a new location established. The Malta Business Center, between Hardware Hank and Radio Shack on 1st St East, also home to Bohn’s Bones Art Gallery, is where art classes and lessons will be held along with other arts activities. Bohn’s Bones Arts, LLC, owned by Kathy Bohn-Bagley, is hosting the 3 year old nonprofit Arts Education organization which provides fine art classes and art supplies, and is looking forward to creating a music, dance and performing arts program which will allow participation from the North-eastern Montana community members. “We’re looking forward to partnering with as many Northeastern and other Montana artists as possible so we can provide a festive and beautiful gallery and arts school for the Northeastern part of our state,” says Kathy Bohn-Bagley, director of the newly re-formed nonprofit. “Our first priority is to continue the arts education that Bohn’s Bones Art Gallery has introduced to the Malta community and to offer assistance to the revitalization of Malta through art installations and beautification programs. We’re also looking forward to establishing a Made in Montana store and an Arts Market for fair weather events that will allow students to show and sell their artwork and talents.” Membership in the non-profit is available to all including northeastern Montana residents, businesses and nonprofits. Donation levels start at $50 for a student level membership and escalate to a $1,000 sponsor-ship by local businesses. Benefits include discounts on lessons, art supplies and fine arts purchases as well as advertising and sponsor announcements for participating businesses and non-profit organizations. All donations are accepted, including services in lieu of cash, and all donations are tax deductible due to the nonprofit 501(c)(3) status of ArtSpot. Fundraisers are being planned and will include Cocktails ‘N Canvas events, Cupcakes ‘N Canvas events and Splatter Parties.
