9:30 p.m. Severe Thunderstorm Warning for north central Phillips until 10:30 p.m .; quarter size hail and 60mph gusts are possible.
9:33 p.m. Female reported a possible fire north of Wagner; caller could see an orange glow coming from that area; Deputy responded to the call; no fire located, just the orange glow of the sun peeking through the clouds.
9:45 p.m. Undersheriff reported a vehicle in the ditch near the airport; all found to be okay, no one was around; vehicle appeared to be disabled.
10:00 p.m. Significant Weather Advisory for northern Phillips Co in effect until 10:30 p.m .; half inch hail and 40mph gusts are possible.

3:14 p.m. Significant Weather Advisory in effect for eastern Phillips Co until 345 p.m .; nickel sized hail and 50mph gusts are possible.
3:44 p.m. Deputy advised individuals on Nelson Reservoir of an upcoming storm and should get off the water.
3:50 p.m. Significant Weather Advisory in effect until 445 p.m. for northeastern Phillips Co; penny sized hail and 50mph gusts are possible.
3:56 p.m. Several 911s and calls received reporting power outages in Malta; 911 received reporting two broken power poles near Independence Bank; Sheriff, Deputy and NorthWestern Energy responded to the location; poles repaired and power later restored.
3:57 p.m. 911 received reporting a downed power line near the Great Northern; Deputy responded to the location; found to not be a power line.
4:02 p.m. 911 received reporting a grass fire south of Malta off of Black Coulee Road; Deputy and local Fire Dept responded to the location; found to be dust blowing off of the black from the previous fire last weekend.
4:17 p.m. Severe Thunderstorm Warning for northeastern Phillips Co until 445 p.m .; 60mph gusts and quarter sized hail are possible.
4:20 p.m. Female reported a pickup pulling a boat and camper trailer was blown over on Hwy 191 south of Malta in the Alkali Creek area; Deputies and local MHP Trooper responded to the location; MHP handled the crash.
4:37 p.m. Severe Thunderstorm Warning for east central Phillips Co until 515; 60mph gusts are possible.
4:50 p.m. Lifeline requested a welfare check on an individual on the north side of Malta; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be okay.
5:20 p.m. Female reported a fire in the Landusky area; Zortman Fire Dept and BLM Fire Dispatch advised of the information; BLM had engines enroute already.
5:45 p.m. Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 9 p.m.
8:11 p.m. Severe Thunderstorm Watch is canceled.

12:45 a.m. Deputy performed security checks on buildings in the Saco area and businesses in Malta.
1:08 a.m. Female reported a possible vehicle accident at her neighbor’s residence on 3rd St W; Deputy responded to the location; all found to be okay, no accident.
3:39 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect until 10 p.m. tonight.
6:29 a.m. Male reported a vehicle speeding by his residence in Saco.
1:01 p.m. 911 received reporting a two vehicle accident on Hwy 2, near the Wagner turnoff; Deputy, local EMT Crew, Fire Dept and MHP Trooper responded to the location; patients transported to the hospital; MHP handled the crash.
1:31 p.m. Female reported a motorcycle driving on the old airport; Deputy responded to the location; motorcycle not located.
3:13 p.m. 911 received reporting a personal vehicle transport of a female who fell to the PC Hospital; caller requested the hospital be advised; information passed on to PC Hospital.
7:14 p.m. BNSF Police requested PCSO assistance with an open door on an equipment building in the Saco area; Deputy responded to the location; door closed and secured until a BNSF employee could arrive.
8:28 p.m. 911 received reporting an individual had been shot at near the DY Junction on Hwy 191 south; Deputies and Ft Belknap Officer responded to the location; no one was shot. Shots were fired to scare off a dog. Case file started.
July 25, 2014
10:09 p.m. Female reported individuals outside of her residence in Dodson and they were harassing the occupants of the residence; Deputy responded to the call; juveniles not located in the area.
10:22 p.m. Female reported an individual knocking on her apartment door and would not leave; Deputy responded to the Cedarview area; all found to be quiet and no one around the area.
10:25 p.m. Deputy reported a disabled vehicle on Hwy 2, west of Malta; driver was letting semi cool down for a while before traveling westbound again.
July 26, 2014
2:03 a.m. Deputy reported a vehicle had “peeled out in front of me”, heading north on Hwy 191; second Deputy responded to the call as well; case file started for Reckless Driving and Resisting Arrest.
2:17 a.m. Deputy transported one adult male, Anthony NezPerce, to PCSO to be incarcerated on Resisting Arrest and Reckless Driving charges.
2:19 a.m. Deputy transported one adult female, Victoria Burnham, to PCSO to be incarcerated on Obstruction of Justice charges; female later released to family member.
3:06 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. today.
2:17 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect until 10 p.m..
4:20 p.m. Male, Anthony NezPerce, released from PCSO Jail on bond paid.
9:14 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory is canceled.
11:00 p.m. Female reported a loud pickup speeding by her residence on Route 8; information passed on to Deputies and Ft Belknap LE.
11:07 p.m. Deputy received information about a possible house party with juveniles in the Wagner area; all found to be quiet at the reported residence and the surrounding areas.

12:01 a.m. Deputy performed a welfare check on an intoxicated male near a local business; all found to be okay, just waiting for his sober driver to arrive.
8:46 a.m. Reserve Deputy shut and secured a door on a shed at a cabin site on Nelson Reservoir.
9:08 a.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance at a residence in Lodgepole; call transferred to Ft Belknap LE.
11:03 a.m. Border Patrol Dispatch reported a vehicle fire on Sjostrom Road, northwest of Malta; BP plane had called it in to her; Reserve Deputy, local Fire Dept and landowners responded to the location; fire later controlled and extinguished; case file started.
12:02 p.m. Female reported horses in a horse trailer at a local business and they were stomping because of the heat; Reserve Deputy responded to the call; horses found to be okay, were stomping at the flies not the heat; trailer had plenty of air circulation with open hatches.
12:15 p.m. Male reported a large dog running loose on Central Ave; ACO handled the call.
12:45 p.m. Male reported hitting a fawn on Hwy 191 south near the golf course; Reserve Deputy responded to the location and humanely euthanized the fawn.
1:14 p.m. Female filed a verbal complaint regarding vehicles parking near the south Dodson Canal bridge on Hwy 363; Reserve Deputy handled the call.
5:21 p.m. Male filed a verbal complaint regarding a motorcycle speeding on Hwy 243 in Saco.
6:20 p.m. Female reported a possible custodial interference situation involving her granddaughter; Deputy handled the call.
July 28, 2014
9:28 a.m. Male reported a grass fire north of Saco; caller advised was a reported and controlled burn.
3:17 p.m. Male requested assistance with stolen horses; Deputy responded to the call; Livestock Inspector was already handling the call.
4:45 p.m. Juvenile reported a vehicle passing by a residence in Saco was “harassing” them; Deputy handled the call.
6:37 p.m. 911s received reporting a vehicle “all over the Hwy”, westbound on Hwy 2 from Dodson; Deputy and local Border Patrol Agent responded to the call; vehicle located west of Dodson with the driver passed out in the front seat; case file started.
7:27 p.m. Deputy requested a tow truck for the vehicle involved in the above call; local rotational wrecker responded to the location and handled the call.
7:32 p.m. Deputy transported one adult male, Benny Benhart, to PCSO to be incarcerated on DUI, Open Container and Reckless Driving charges.
8:31 p.m. Male reported suspicious activity in a vehicle on Central Ave; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle not located.
10:55 p.m. Male requested assistance with locating an overdue FedEx driver; last location delivered was on the reservation; call transferred to Ft Belknap LE.
11:11 p.m. Deputy transported 3 adult males, Dino Fernandez, Jason LeTeff, Brian Bell, and one adult female, Shelby Walker, from Valley Co Detention Center to PCSO for District Court appearance in the a.m.
July 29, 2014
12:29 a.m. Male, Benny Benhart, released from PCSO Jail on bond paid; Notice to Appear in PC Justice Court given.
10:16 a.m. Male reported a possible scam.
10:39 a.m. Female reported theft of fuel in the Landusky area; Undersheriff responded to the call; case file started.
12:28 p.m. Female, Shelby Walker, released from PCSO Jail on own recognizance.
12:48 p.m. Female reported vandalism to the Malta Grade School by her son; Undersheriff responded to the call; case file started.
1:38 p.m. Female requested a welfare check on juvenile at a local residence; Undersheriff responded to the residence; all found to be okay.
3:21 p.m. 911 received reporting a grass fire in the Hinsdale area; call transferred to Valley Co SO.
4:56 p.m. Female requested ACO assistance with a stray cat; information passed on to ACO.
5:11 p.m. Female reported a vehicle/power pole accident on Hwy 2, just west of the Phillips/Valley Co line; no injuries to the occupants; Deputy, NorthWestern Energy and MHP Trooper responded to the location; MHP handled the crash.
5:40 p.m. Male reported a possible break-in to a shed at a local residence; Deputy handled the call.
6:57 p.m. Female reported a vehicle speeding down 7th St E and has been happening a lot; Deputies responded to the call; vehicle later located and driver given a verbal warning.
9:55 p.m. Deputy transported 3 adult males, Dino Fernandez, Jason LeTeff and Brian Bell, from PCSO back to Valley Co Detention Center after District Court appearances.
11:36 p.m. 911 received reporting a one vehicle rollover on Hwy 191, south of Malta; Deputy, local Ambulance and Fire Dept responded to the location; MHP Trooper also responded to the location; patient not transported to the hospital.
July 30, 2014
1:07 a.m. Deputy requested a wrecker for the vehicle involved in the rollover accident; local rotational wrecker service responded to the location.
1:34 a.m. MHP Trooper transported one adult male, Trevor Kost, to PCSO to be incarcerated on DUI and Careless Driving charges.
10:07 a.m. Male reported a swather fire south of Malta near Rudolph Valley Rd; local Fire Dept responded to the location; fire later controlled and extinguished.
11:26 a.m. Female filed a verbal complaint regarding being harassed; Undersheriff handled the call.
4:39 p.m. Male, Trevor Kost, released from PCSO Jail on own recognizance.
7:44 p.m. Male filed a written complaint regarding a vehicle driving without a child in a safety restraint; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle not located.
7:45 p.m. Female reported a missing cat.
11:23 p.m. Deputy performed security checks on local businesses.

10:58 a.m. Deputy removed debris from Hwy 2, near the weigh station.
12:20 p.m. 911 received reporting a vehicle passing on double lines, westbound on Hwy 2; Deputy and local MHP Trooper responded to the call; vehicle located and citation issued.
4:12 p.m. Reserve Deputy reported to the PC Fairgrounds for security.
4:26 p.m. BLM Firefighter reported two small grass fires along Hwy 2, in Blaine Co; information passed on to Blaine Co SO; fires put out by the original caller.
5:57 p.m. Male brought in a found wallet; owner later located and wallet returned.
6:27 p.m. Male incarcerated in PCSO Jail to serve time on another jurisdiction’s sentencing.
6:47 p.m. Female reported a vehicle parked in front of her driveway with no one inside; owner removed the vehicle shortly after the call.
8:40 p.m. Deputy performed a welfare check on a vehicle alongside of Hwy 2, near Exeter Creek Rd; all found to be okay, just stopped to take pictures of the storm clouds.
August 1, 2014
3:18 a.m. Medic Alert requested assistance at a local residence on 3rd St W; Deputy responded to the location; family members were also there to assist.
5:56 a.m. Male requested PCSO assistance with an on-going child exchange situation; caller advised was a civil matter.
6:39 a.m. Male reported smoke coming from the Wagner area; caller advised was a reported and controlled burn.
7:45 a.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pickup from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew responded to the call.
10:50 a.m. Male reported a stolen vehicle; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.
1:52 p.m. Reserve Deputy reported to the PC Fairgrounds for security.
3:31 p.m. Female requested assistance with a patron at Hi Line Retirement Center; Deputy handled the call.
3:42 p.m. Deputy removed two adult females from the PC Fairgrounds without incident.
3:51 p.m. 911 received reporting a grass fire, south of Malta on the Content Road; local Fire Dept responded to the call; fire later controlled and extinguished.
4:09 p.m. Local Ambulance reported to the PC Fairgrounds for fair coverage.
4:29 p.m. Male reported seeing smoke, possibly south of the Missouri River or on the Dry Fork Road area; smoke found to be coming from a fire south of the Missouri River in Petroleum Co.
4:36 p.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with a possible Protection Order violation; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.
4:42 p.m. 911 received reporting vehicles running through the barricades and not waiting for the pilot car in the construction zone on Route 66; Deputy handled the call.
5:41 p.m. Male reported a male at a local tavern who was on Probation; Deputies responded to the location; case file started.
5:45 p.m. Male released from PCSO Jail on time served.
6:02 p.m. Deputies transported one adult male, Shane Carnahan, to PCSO to be incarcerated on Probation Violation charges.
6:03 p.m. Hi-Line Retirement Center requested law enforcement assistance with a resident who was being violent; Deputies responded to the location; situation taken care of without further incident.
