One Nation, Under God
Bobby Lee (Bob) Perkins passed away at his home in Kodiak, Alaska on July 14, 2014. He was born July 19, 1955 in Ontario, Oregon to Carol Lee and Mary Jane Perkins.
Bob attended schools in Saco, Montana and Northglenn, Colorado. He worked in the building construction trade, primarily as a drywaller but as a construction cost estimator in his later years. A confirmed bachelor, Bob spent his adult life between Big Sky, Montana and Kodiak, Alaska. Kodiak was his favorite place to be; it was truly his home and he considered his many friends there to be his family.
Bob was preceded in death by his father, a brother Dan, and his only sister Tammy. He is survived by his mother Mary (Russ) Hall of Billings; step-father Rufus (Shelley) Ramirez of Malta; his brothers Tom (Sandy) Ramirez of Billings, and Ed (Kristen) Ramirez of Big Sky and by four nephews, Joe and Tommy Perkins, James and Luke Ramirez. Also surviving are his very special aunt Aggie (Don) Petersen of Kalispell, Montana, and his uncle H.D. Hendrickson of Saco, Montana.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial Services are being planned for Kodiak in the near future and in Big Sky at a later date this summer.
