July 12, 2014
8:03 a.m. Individuals requested law enforcement assistance with a parenting plan violation; Deputy handled the call.
9:17 a.m. Local Ambulance reported to the Pavilion for the Boots and Saddles Rodeo.
7:02 p.m. Deputy performed a welfare check on a vehicle with flashers on, on Hwy 2, west of the Sleeping Buffalo; all found to be okay, just flagging for an individual who was haying.
7:56 p.m. Deputy performed a welfare check on a motorhome on Hwy 363; vehicle found to be having motor trouble and waiting for help to arrive.
9:04 p.m. Male reported an erratic vehicle driving on Hwy 2, eastbound; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located and citation issued for Speeding.
9:21 p.m. Male reported an individual walking down 5th St W with a gun; Deputies responded to the call; male not located in the area.
July 13, 2014
1:05 a.m. Deputy performed security checks on businesses in the Malta area.
2:36 a.m. Deputy reported an individual’s dog was running loose and chasing a cat; owner advised to put the dog in for the night.
3:11 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect from noon to 9 p.m. today.
9:46 a.m. Female reported two sheep dogs loose on property south of Malta.
10:16 a.m. Female filed a verbal traffic complaint regarding an individual driving through stop signs; Undersheriff handled the call.
11:17 a.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for an individual who was lightheaded and dizzy at a local business; local EMT Crew responded to the location; patient not transported to the hospital.
11:41 a.m. 911 received reporting a “stuck truck” on Route 66; call transferred to Ft Belknap LE.
11:53 a.m. PC Hospital requested law enforcement assistance with a possible Assault on an individual; Undersheriff responded to the location; all found to be okay, and no assault on the individual.
Several calls received reporting a stuck semi and trailer on Route 66; callers advised Ft Belknap was responding.
2:30 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect until 9 p.m.
3:47 p.m. Female reported a possible Protection Order Violation; Undersheriff responded to the residence; individual advised to stay away from the callers residence or may receive a citation.
7:17 p.m. Deputy performed a welfare check on a vehicle alongside of Hwy 2, west of Saco; all found to be okay, driver was just feeding a child.
8:47 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory is canceled.
9:32 p.m. Male reported a missing cow; caller later located the cow.
July 14, 2014
9:19 p.m. BNSF Police reported a suspicious vehicle near the tracks under the Overpass on Hwy 2; Undersheriff responded to the call; all found to be okay, driver was just resting.
11:05 a.m. Individuals reported their dogs had been poisoned; Undersheriff responded to the call; case file started for Suspicious Activity.
2:15 p.m. 911 received reporting a pickup and horse trailer accident on Hwy 243, north of Saco; no injuries reported; Undersheriff, Deputy, Saco EMT Crew and MHP Trooper responded to the crash scene; no one transported to the hospital; MHP handled the crash.
2:43 p.m. Female requested to speak to a Deputy regarding the vehicle involved in the above accident; caller stated had seen the same vehicle speeding by the previous day; Undersheriff handled the call.
5:12 p.m. Female requested law enforcement remove a transient, Jesus Escamilla, from St Mary’s Church basement; Undersheriff and Deputy responded to the location; male left on own accord.
5:40 p.m. A motel voucher for a one night stay given to a male from Ministerial Assistance and a meal voucher given from Salvation Army assistance.
6:54 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with a dog situation in the Dodson area; Deputy handled the call.
July 15, 2014
1:07 p.m. Male reported vandalism to a grain bin in the Saco area; Deputy responded to the location; case file started for Criminal Mischief.
4:08 p.m. 911 received reporting a male had passed away at his residence; Undersheriff and Deputy responded to 7th Ave W; coroner case file started.
5:37 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pickup from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew responded to the call.
7:54 p.m. 911 received reporting an individual on a motorcycle was chasing cows east of Nelson Reservoir; individual not located.
9:25 p.m. Female reported two missing dogs; dogs later located by owner.
10:25 p.m. Deputy closed the door to the storage building at Marion Hills Golf Course.
11:52 p.m. Female reported a possible break-in to her residence; Deputy responded to the location; case file started for Burglary.
July 16, 2014
2:14 a.m. Deputy and Reserve Deputy performed security checks on businesses in the Malta area.
4:28 a.m. 911 received reporting a one vehicle accident, no injuries to the occupant, on Hwy 2, close to Dodson; Reserve Deputy and local MHP Trooper responded to the location; case file started for Assist Other Jurisdiction-MHP.
9:33 a.m. Deputy reported a four wheeler on the railroad tracks in downtown Malta.
12:10 p.m. 911 received reporting a personal vehicle transport of an individual to the hospital; caller requested hospital be notified; information passed on to PC Hospital.
12:54 p.m. Male reported a situation involving a juvenile; situation occurred in Billings; Deputy handled the call.
12:56 p.m. Female reported a vehicle speeding and throwing rocks in the downtown area; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located and was not speeding at that time.
1:00 p.m. Deputy reported a semi truck with cones around it on Hwy 191 north of Malta.
2:14 p.m. Female reported a scam.
6:06 p.m. Valley Co SO received a report of an erratic vehicle westbound on Hwy 2, from Hinsdale; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle matching description not located.
8:28 p.m. Male requested Fish & Game assistance with boaters on Nelson Reservoir; Deputies responded to the call; information passed on to Game Wardens the following day.
9:38 p.m. Deputy performed a welfare check on a vehicle alongside of Hwy 2, just east of Malta; all found to be okay, just stopped to make a phone call.
9:46 p.m. Deputy reported an abandoned vehicle near the Old Hwy 2/Hwy 2 Junction; owner not located.
10:34 p.m. Juvenile reported individuals throwing trash out of a vehicle near Westside; Deputies responded to the call; individuals located and cleaned up the mess.
July 17, 2014
6:18 a.m. Male reported a hitchhiker on Hwy 2, west of Malta; Deputy responded to the location; male, Edward Smith, found to be okay, just passing through.
8:15 a.m. Male reported his vehicle was broken into on 1st Ave W; property was stolen from the vehicle; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.
9:32 a.m. Male reported missing property; Undersheriff handled the call.
11:11 a.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a ground transport to Havre; local EMT Crew responded to the call.
11:45 a.m. 911 received reporting a male lying in the ditch east of Malta; Deputy responded to the call; male found to be the hitchhiker reported earlier and all was okay.
