One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News for the Week of July 9, 2014

Hello and Get Well wishes to Arrabelle McMullen. We are glad you are better.

We heard Math’s farm was flooded as we have had so much rain. Hope it did not do too much damage to hay crops and gardens in the area.

News flash: The North 40 is closed until July 8, 2014, guess everyone is on vacation.

Several people including myself attended the gospel jamboree in Malta this weekend. There were groups from all over the United States and several from Canada.

There was a wedding shower for Calli Cox on Sunday and the wedding is in July.

Becky Anderson went to Spokane, Wash. to drive a new pickup home. That’s great.

Lynn Hill was in Billings to a meeting., Now Bruce and Lynn have several grandchildren at home from all over the United States and even Texas. Great time.

Bobby and Pat Anderson journeyed to Libby, Mont. for a family reunion. Pat said she baked 300 cookies for it.

Howard Berg went by on a tractor, his crops look good as many in this area do.

There were separate power outages in Whitewater. Someone said there was in Malta too. Rumor has it, that this had to do with water generators at Fort Peck dam. Is that far out or what?

July 4th is here so be careful with fireworks, watch kids around water and drive careful. That’s a lecture for the day. Oh and don’t eat too much picnic food, just have fun.
