Senior Dinner Meals

Starting on July 1, Senior Dinner meals will be served at the Great Northern from 11 a.m. until noon.

Sports Physicals at PC

Family Health Clinic

Due to the clinic being so busy, and the need for our student athletes to have sports physicals, we are going to offer three evening clinics, like we have done in the past. These clinics will be specifically for sports physicals. No scouts or other physicals will be done.

The evening clinics will be from 6-8:30 on the following dates: Tuesday July 22nd; Monday July 28th, and Thursday August 14th.

Please remind your athlete to wear loose clothing and bring their eye glasses or contact lenses. Also, do not wait until the last minute to get these done as it may result in not having your physical in time for sports practices. If you have any questions, please call the clinic.

Malta VFW

7-4. The Malta VFW Club will be closed July 4.

Dinosaur Museum

7-4. The Great Plains Dinosaur Museum will be closed Friday, July 4.

Malta Landfill

7-4, 5, 6. The City of Malta landfill will be closed July 4, 5 and 6. Garbage pick-up will be delayed.

Malta City Office

7-4. The Malta City Office and Shop will be closed Friday, July 4th.

Malta Pool

7-4, 5 & 6. Malta swimming pool will be closed July 4, 5 and 6.

PC Family Health Clinic

7-4 & 5. The Phillips County Family Health Clinic will be closed on Saturday, July 5th. Everyone please have a safe and fun 4th of July.

Phillips County Museum

The Phillips County Museum will be closed Friday, July 4.

Phillips County Library

7-4, 5 &6. The Phillips County Library will be closed; Friday, July 4th through Sunday, July 6. 2014 for the Independence Day Holiday.

Landusky Fun Day July 5th.

7-5. Come join the fun a chili cook off, wool spinning demonstration, games, live auction, brunch at 10 a.m. and chili dinner at 5:00 p.m. For more information call Claudia Shimko at 673-3778.

Malta Dirt Daubers

7-5. Malta Dirt Daubers will meet on Monday July 7 at 7 p.m. at the PC Museum. Kathy Waters, a licensed clinical practical counselor, will speak on horticulture therapy. We will also discuss various flower projects for the county fair. The public is invited to attend.

M-ette Basketball Camp

7-7, 7-8,7-9. The M-ette Basketball Camp for girls entering fourth-through-eighth-grade will be held July 7 through 9, 2014 at the Malta High School Gym from 9 a.m. until noon, daily. Registration forms can be obtained by calling Nate Hammond at 654-1230, or you can register on the first day of camp.

Malta Trails

7-9. The Malta Trails monthly meeting is at Stretches on July 9 at 6 p.m. We are meeting a week later than usual because of the 4th of July holiday.

Rangeland Monitoring Roundup

7-16. The Charles M. Russell National Wildlife Refuge Community Working Group is hosting a Rangeland Monitoring Roundup workshop in south Phillips County on July 16 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

Malta Irrigation District

7-26. The Malta Irrigation District office will be closed Thursday, June 26, 2014. Office will reopen Friday, June 27 at 8:00 a.m. Questions please call (406) 654-1440.
