Senior Dinner Meals

Starting on July 1, Senior Dinner meals will be served at the Great Northern from 11 .m. until noon.

Whitewater Lutheran

Gospel Jamboree

6.-27,28,29 The 13th Annual Gospel Jamboree will be held at Malta High School on June 27, 28 and 29.

Philco Economic Growth Council

6-26. PhillCo Economic Growth Council will hold their bi-monthly membership meeting at noon on Thursday, June 26 at Stretch’s. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Malta Chamber Radio-Thon

Malta Irrigation District

MCPA Meeting

6-30. Montana Community Preservation Alliance (MCPA) meeting Monday, June 30th at 7 p.m. at the Phillips County Library basement in Malta. Among the discussion topics will be the re-scheduling of the FWP bison meeting and the arrival of the new No Monument/No Free Roaming Bison yard signs.

Judith River Foundation

7-1. The Judith River Foundation will hold its monthly meeting on July 1 at 5:00 pm in the council chambers of Malta City Hall. All meetings are open to the public.

Malta Kiwanis

7-1. Attention Kiwanis members: The Tuesday, July 1 meeting has been changed to Tuesday, July 8, 6 p.m. Westside Cafe. We need to plan for the PC Fair, Crazy Days, and a trip to Ft Peck Theater. New members always welcome.

Wheat and Barley Meeting

7-2. The Montana Wheat and Barley Committee Meeting will take place at the Northern Ag Research Center, 3848 Fort Circle, Havre, Montana on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. There will be opportunities for public comment.

Malta VFW

7-4. The Malta VFW Club will be closed July 4.

Dinosaur Museum

7-4. The Great Plains Dinosaur Museum will be closed Friday, July 4.

Malta Landfill

7-4, 5, 6. The City of Malta landfill will be closed July 4, 5 and 6. Garbage pick-up will be delayed

Landusky Fun Day July 5th.

Malta Dirt Daubers

7-5. Malta Dirt Daubers will meet on Monday July 7 at 7 p.m. at the PC Museum. Kathy Waters, a licensed clinical practical counselor, will speak on horticulture therapy. We will also discuss various flower projects for the county fair. The public is invited to attend.

M-ette Basketball Camp

7-7, 7-8,7-9. The M-ette Basketball Camp for girls entering fourth-through-eighth-grade will be held July 7 through 9, 2014 at the Malta High School Gym from 9 a.m. until noon, daily. Registration forms can be obtained by calling Nate Hammond at 654-1230, or you can register on the first day of camp.
