MALTA-Grace Marie Nessland, 69, of Malta passed away on June 4, 2014 at Billing Clinic Hospital.

Memorial services were held on Monday, June 9, 2014 at the Malta Lutheran Church. Interment of her cremated remains will be in the Malta Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association. As she was always thinking of others, Grace donated her corneas so that others could have sight. Grace was born on March 18, 1945 to Ole and Betty (Hanson) Nessland in Malta. She was raised and educated in Malta. She graduated in 1963 as her class president. She attended Northern Montana College in Havre and received her associate's degree in business administra-tion. After graduating from Northern she taught school for one year, or as she often referred to it as 180 days too many at Tallow Creek School south of Malta.

She then went to work at Big Flat Electric as a bookkeeper for several years before moving on to work for Roger Ereaux as a bookkeeper for many years. When she left Ereaux and Associates, she started her own business, Nessland Computer Bookkeeping Service in 1984.

Grace enjoyed playing cards, dancing, watching Mustang/M-ette athletics, visiting with friends and spoiling "her boys," Blake and Easton.

Grace was preceded in death by her parents Ole and Betty Nessland. She is survived by her sis-ter Brenda of Malta, Ron (Pat) Nessland of Kalispell, and Darv (Kay) Nessland of Havre. Spe-cial niece, Crystal (Dustin) Holman of Billing, nephew Kevin Nessland of Bozeman, niece Kelly (Nate) Malmin of Kalispell, nephew Jared Nessland of Sacramento, CA and niece Bryn Nessland of Kalispell. Also her great nephews and nieces, Blake and Easton Holman (Crystal), Christian Hannesson (Kevin), Halle and Kaden Nessland (Kevin), Ande, Ava, and Dylan Malmin (Kelly). She also is survived by many special friends.
