Headline: Cutting Scrape

Last Thursday evening a fellow by the name of Ed Donovan was cut up some about the head by a man by the name of B.F. McGee. They were both arrested and put in jail until the following day when they were given a hearing before Justice Brockway. It appears that Donovan is a professional beggar and it was his persistence in begging that caused the trouble.

The evidence showed Donovan the aggressor and the court dismissed the case against McGee and proceeded with the one against Donovan who was found guilty and fined $50 or twenty five days in jail. In the absence of money he took a trip to Glasgow on Saturday.

For Sale: Shelled corn only $1.20 per hundred while it lasts. St. A&Dak Elevator.
