Pictures of lightning in Malta

A storm less devastating than forecasted, struck Malta on May 28, late at night.

There have only been a few reports of pea-sized hail and no tornado to speak of. Lightning could be seen throughout the town of Malta.

Two small fires were reported, one east of Malta and another south of Whitewater, though they were quickly quenched by the rain.
