Local Cowgirl qualifies in two events for CNFR

Justinn Marshall, Saco, rodeos for the University of Montana Western, at Dillon. The last college rodeo of the regular season was held this past weekend in Missoula.

Justinn ended the year with 463 points in Breakaway Roping which placed her 1st. She was awarded a beautiful buckle and saddle.

Marshall came into the final rodeo sitting 4th in Goat Tying. She split 1st in the long go, with a 9.0, then placed 3rd in the short go with a 9.5, which also put her 3rd in the average. She ended up with total points of 592.5, which bumped her into 3rd place, and earning her a second event at Nationals.

The College National Final Rodeo is held in Casper, Wyoming, the middle of June.

Justinn is the daughter of Dale and Sue Marshall, of Saco.
