Malta Driver’s Exam New Schedule

The Malta Driver’s Exam Station has changed the days it will be in Malta. The New days are the first and fourth Wednesday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon and then from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.

Friends of the Garden

“Friends of the Garden” will be working every Tuesday afternoon at the HG Robinson House and Gardens from 1:30 p.m. until 3 p.m. starting on April 29. Come Join us and get a free hands-on garden lesson.

Phillips County Motor Sports

Phillips County Motor Sports will have a work weekend at the track beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday and continuing Sunday and start gutting the former Independence Bank building.

Malta School District Special Board Meeting.

4-30. On Wednesday, April 30, the Malta School District will hold a special board meeting at 7 p.m. in the teacher’s workroom. The agenda includes a call to order, public input, new business, transportation contract, 2014-15 contracts, teacher contracts and coaching contracts.

Cleanup Day

5-1. Chamber Cleanup Day, 4:00 p.m. Please meet at Front Street Park. If you see an area that needs attention this year, please call Juli at the Chamber at 654-1776.

Benefit for Linda Berg

5-1. There will be benefit potluck/silent auction for Linda to help defray medical costs associated with her cancer treatments. Please join us Sunday, May 4 at 1:30 p.m. in the old gym at Whitewater School. The main dish is provided so please bring either a salad or dessert. A free will offering will be accepted. Please leave your donation for the silent auction with Gail Wilcott at the Whitewater School or call her (674-5544) to arrange a pick-up of your item. Thank you for your generosity.

Saco Kindergarten Roundup

5-1, 5-2. Saco School will hold a Kindergarten Roundup on Thursday, May 1, and Friday, May 2, starting at noon.

P.C. Livestock Association Meeting

Malta Kiwanis Clean-up

5-3. Malta Kiwanis will clean along Highway 2 on Saturday, May 3. Please meet at Little Ott’s at 9:00 a.m.

5-6. The Malta Kiwanis’ next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 6 at 6:00 pm at Westside Cafe. Election of officers will be held at the May 6 meeting.

Malta Dirt Daubers Annual Potluck Dinner

5-12. Malta Dirt Daubers will hold their annual potluck dinner and plant and bulb sale on Mon. May 12 at 5:30 p.m. at the home of Toni Ziegler, 223 Ruby Ave in Hillcrest. Public welcome. Great choice and great buys on plants and bulbs. Join the fun!
