Phillips County Commissioner's Lesley Robinson and Richard Dunbar bookend Lieutenant Tyler French on the steps of the court house on Monday afternoon. French, a member of the US Air Force, presented the commissioners with an American flag which flew in USAF MC-12W on March 14, 2014, over Kandahar, Afghanistan, in support of Operation Freedom. The flag bears witness to the sacrifice and courage of those men and women fighting terrorist forces threatening the freedoms of the United State of America and the world.
