One Nation, Under God
The Loring Womans’ Club annual card party was held on Sunday. We had 3 tables of players. Mickey Hellie and Mindy Perdue were the winners with the highest scores! Congratulations. Several people came just to have a piece of pie. It was fun visiting with some of my neighbors who I don’t see often!
Dee Arndt of Kalispell is in the area visiting her sister, me, and mother, Barbara Cowan.
With the warm temperatures this last week, close to 70 degrees, it is tempting to get the garden ready to plant! But we know that it won’t grow till it gets really warm!
The students at Whitewater who participate in the music program were at Poplar last Friday for the District Music Festival. I am pretty proud of those musicians!
Saturday, the Junior High “tracksters” participated in a track meet in Glasgow. I think they faired pretty well in their endeavors there, too! Also the golfers were in a golf meet and I’m sure they were chilled to the bone when they got done!
Loring Womans’ Club is on Wednesday at Brittany Anthony’s home.
Easter breakfast will be pot luck at the Loring Hall from 8-9:30. Church will be at 9:30, and the kids will have an Easter egg hunt after church in the park.
Call me, maybe, if you have news!
