Marshall receives Rodeo Scholarship

The University of Montana Western College Foundation presented the Carol C. Sloan Memorial Rodeo Scholarship to Justinn Marshall, in the amount of $3000.00 for the 2014-2015 Academic year. Justinn is the daughter of Dale and Sue Marshall, of Saco.

Last weekend, Marshall competed in the Bozeman college rodeo this past She rodeos for The University of Montana Western, out of Dillon. The first rodeo consisted of a long and short go. In the long go, Marshall won first in goat tying, with a 7.7, then continued on into the short go placing third in the average, with an 8.4. On Sunday there was one long rodeo, where she won the breakaway roping with a time of 2.5. The competitors have 2 weeks off, then round out their season with rodeos in Glendive, Great Falls, and Missoula, then on to nationals for those that qualify.
