One Nation, Under God
Apologies to my readers and my contributors, for the last several weeks I haven’t gotten the news in by noon on Monday; therefore, the paper was filled and the article was scrapped. I am sorry for those of you who missed seeing your news in the paper. The deadline is noon on Monday.
ELCW will be held at the Connie Wasson home on Wednesday at 7.
The Loring Club card party will be held on April 13 at 1:00 in the Loring Hall. Prizes will be awarded and pie will be served!
Several Loring residents went in to the Spring Fling at the Malta Business Center on Saturday. Most of the youth from here participated in the Swish Fest this weekend with wins all around! Fun for everyone!
It is official for sure! Spring is here because I heard a meadowlark on Saturday! A little late for most years but not too bad! It is such a welcome sound!
Barbara Cowan and Dixie Stordahl drove to Havre on Wednesday to see the eye doctor. We also visited with Theresa Cowan for a few minutes. Iver Johannesen was in Havre the same day. I have to travel quite a ways to see my neighbor.
Whitney, Jay and Amus Blunt visited with Carmen and Matt Norville and girls in White Hall. They met Aubrie for the first time!
The snow birds have returned to their chilly homes in the north! Welcome back!
Brenda Clark and Wendy Hudson spent a few days in Denver for Brenda’s birthday. The highlight was George Strait Concert!
Twilla Johannesen and Dee Dee traveled to Havre on Saturday and picked up some baby fowl for springtime! Chickens and ducks!
Whitewater School took most of the kids on a ski day at Kings Hill on Friday. It sounded like everyone had a great time! I haven’t heard the results of the track meet on Sat. yet but you probably can read them elsewhere in this very paper!
