Preschool screening is scheduled to take place at the Malta Lutheran Church on Wednesday, April 7, from 8:30 a.m. until 2:15 p.m. Please call the Malta Elementary School – 654-2320 – to make an appointment.

Head Start Enrolling

Head Start is now enrolling children who are three and four-years old for preschool. Enrolment is limited. Please call, 654-2005, or stop by at 164 S. 10th St. West.

Dirt Daubers Meeting

Malta Dirt Daubers will meet at 1:00 pm on Sat. April 12 at Karl and Jan’s greenhouse. We will have a demonstration on how to create a miniature garden, also called fairy garden. Please bring a container and small items to create one for yourself.

Key Club Recycling Phone Books

The Malta High School Key Club is once again recycling phone books. The members have placed recycling boxes at Albertsons, Crossroads Coffee, Malta High School and the Post Office. Please drop your phone books at one of the these spots in the next three weeks.

Triangle Communications will be presenting “All Things Gadgetty” at the Malta Boys & Girls Club this Thursday, April 3rd, 3:30-4:30 - members & parents are encouraged to bring smart phones, tablets, I pods, etc. to Club to learn more!
