    The Dodson Cross Country teams consist of four runners in middle school and two middle schoolers. The high school team welcomes back four returning runners in 2020, all of which qualified for the State C meet in their careers. These runners include seniors Ireland Best and Melony Fetter, as well as sophomores Lindsey Fetter and Emma Cole. Best ran in the 2018 and 2017 meets, while more recently M. Fetter, L.     The Malta M-ettes Volleyball team lost four starters to graduation last spring but the team welcomes back a few experienced upperclassmen as well as a group of underclassmen that have been pushing them. Assistant Coach Kalli Rummel said that the team picked a trio of captains that include seniors Erica Smith and Sidney Meeks and junior Kaylee Bishop.     The Whitewater Penguins Cross Country team welcomes a new head coach this season and prior to their first meet, she hadn't been to a cross country meet. Still, Coach Carly Hammond, a teacher at Whitewater Schools, has the tools and running experience to lead the team in the sport.     The Malta Cross Country team is eight strong in 2020, welcoming familiar faces while welcoming two new freshmen to the team. Malta lost Kaycee Bond and Jillian O’Brien to graduation last spring.
