    The Malta High School Gymnasium was the site of the 2020 State C Volleyball Tournament. MHS hosted a total of 15 games amongst eight Class C teams from Thursday, November 12 through Saturday, November 14. Last weekend's tournament was the event volleyball state event ever held in Malta. The Bridger Scouts were crowned after two championship games were played against Manhattan Christian in the double-elimination tournament.     The Dodson Junior High Basketball teams hosted Nashua and Frontier last week at the Coyote Den. The boys went 2-0 and the girls defeated Frontier but fell to Nashua. The Coyotes defeated Nashua 52-14 on Saturday morning in Dodson. The team was led by eighth-grader Junior Stiffarm who scored 22 points, knocking down four treys in the process.     The North country Junior High Basketball teams each defeated their Nashua counterparts last Friday night in Saco. The Lady Mavericks defeated the Lady Porcupines 38-9, giving up only one two-point field goal in the first quarter.
