Both the Mustangs and M-ettes golf teams had a busy week last week with three golf meets attended and one canceled. On Monday, April 25, the teams were in Fort Benton. This season, the Whitewater Invitational was officially recognized by the MHSA due to newly purchased timing equipment that was set up. This team, mostly consisting of Malta sixth graders, won first place at a 7th/8th tournament in Wolf Point on Sunday, April 10. So much talent in this division, each game was a battle.
