    The Malta Swim Team will be sending seven swimmers to the Montana Federation of Swimmer State Swim Meet this weekend in Lewistown.     It was hot air with an occasional breeze that welcomed 65 competitors to the Hi-Line Drag Strip on Saturday and Sunday. Three cars were unable to compete due to breakdowns or various issues.     Malta was not present at the Scobey Swim Meet last weekend, but the team has ten swimmers headed to the Eastern Divisional Swim Meet in Plentywood this week.     The Malta Swim team overcame a couple of 105-degree days in Glasgow last weekend, including record-breaking 108-degree temps on Sunday, July 17.     The Malta Swim Team hosted their first Montana Federation of Swimmers swim meet since the 2018 season. One year, the teams didn't have enough swimmers and parents to set up a meet, one year was canceled due to COVID, and another was lost due to pool conditions "It's great to have kids back and parents to help us set up and make this happen," Malta Head Coach Darrow Messerly told the PCN.     The 2022 Malta NRA Rodeo featured a little adversity by way of a bleacher-clearing thunderstorm last Saturday, July 9, at the Trafton Park Rodeo Arena.
