    The Malta Mustang football team is 2-0 in their 2024-25 campaign after defeating the Baker Spartans 54-14 on Friday, August 30, and the Red Lodge Rams 21-18 on Friday, September 6. This year's group returns plenty of talent from a team that went 5-5 and made the playoffs last season. The Mustangs will be without Bow Saint-Louis, Clayton Hallenberg, Kyle Darrington, and Mason Sjostrom, who all graduated last spring.     The North Country Lady Mavericks Volleyball team graduated their top two hitters from their 2023 season that ended with the team taking third in the State C tournament for the second season in a row. The team will be without Teagan Erickson, Paige Wasson, and Kendall Scheffelmear, who graduated last spring. All three earned All-Conference honors last season.     The Dodson Coyote Cross Country Program features 10 high schoolers and five middle schools in 2024. The Coyotes have one senior this season; Junior Stiffarm.     The Malta M-ette Volleyball team has retained plenty of talent for their 2024 campaign. Last season the M-ettes' postseason run ended at the 2023 Northern B Divisional in Malta. The team lost Elly Anderson and Kataya KillEagle to graduation, but brings back plenty of familiar faces including seniors Ava Hanson and Kelbie Nelson.
