The Malta Wrestling Team saw their first action of the season last weekend in Havre, at the Havre Mixer and Havre Invitational Events. Former Malta M-ette and Dickinson State University Blue Hawk Kelly Pankratz was recently inducted into Dickinson State University's Hall of Fame as a part of the 2008-2009 Women's Basketball Team. The announcement was made in September, and the banquet was held in October. Williston State Head women's basketball coach, Bill Triplett, has announced the signing of Allison Kunze from Malta, Montana. On their 100th year of football, The Malta Mustangs Football team ended the regular season as the 2022 Northern B Division Conference Champions, a title that they also won in 2021. The Whitewater Penguins and Dodson Coyotes Cross Country teams competed at the 2022 State C Cross Country Meet in Missoula. Shelby LaBrie led the Penguins with a third place finish.
