    The Malta M-ettes went into Wolf Point last week, and swept the Wolf Point Wolves. The Varsity team won in three games (25-8, 25-17 and 25-20). The Junior Varsity won in five (20-25, 24-26, 15-11, 15-5 and 15-3) and C-Squad also in five (20-25, 25-22, 9-15, 15-12 and 15-13.) In the Varsity win, senior Darby Schye brought her A game, blocking a team high four kills out of 11, while giving Malta eight of 19 kills.     The Saco-Hinsdale Wildfire had a week that started off rough, with two losses. One game was a thriller against Poplar last Thursday, that went to five games.     The Malta M-ette Cross Country team took on the always windy course at the Havre Invitational Cross Country Meet last Saturday. They placed third as a team with 123 points. The overall winner of the Varsity girl's 3 mile race of 66 runners that took place at the campus of MSU-Northern was Josie Braaten of Glasgow who ran the hilly course in 19:28.     The Malta M-ettes JV squad survived the 80 plus degree temperatures in their win against the Saco-Hinsdale Wildfire with both teams seeing double duty last Friday.
