The Malta M-ettes proved in last weekend's district 2B tourney in Plentywood, that they were the cream of the crop, taking first after defeating Plentywood, not once, but twice. The season for the Saco-Hinsdale Wildfire came down to a showdown against the Nashua Porcupines twice last weekend at the District 3C Tournament, held in Saco, knocking them out of divisionals. October 4 saw the Dodson-Whitewater Harriers at the always tough Havre meet. Class A, B, and C schools were in attendance, giving the Harriers their first look at some of the western teams.
