The team finished second in the Northern B Conference and ultimately fell 40-22 to Three Forks in the first round of the playoffs on Saturday, October 28. The team had six athletes named to the 2023 Northern B All-Conference list, including Stockton Oxarart who was the lone Mustang named to the All-State list.     Twenty-two Malta Middle School wrestlers competed in the Lewistown Middle School meet on Tuesday, November 14. The competition was tough with teams from Fergus, Huntley, Malta, Lockwood, St. Francis, Colstrip an Roundup competing. Most of the brackets had four wrestlers in them. Wrestlers that received fourth place and were 0-3 on the tournament were Colby Wright, Cameron Spencer, Beau Nelson, Steeler Blunt, Hudson Simons, Cord Newman and Kaiden Tharp.     For the second year in a row, the North Country Mavericks Volleyball team were able to bring home Class C's third place trophy from the All-Class Volleyball Tournament in Bozeman, doing much of the heavy lifting.
