Malta hosted it’s annual Malta Athletic Club Wrestling Invitational, which featured some pretty strong competition for the Malta Wrestling Team. Trey Simanton placed second in the 113 pound class at the meet, while fellow Malta grappler Kaden Moore placed fourth in the 120 pound class. The Dodson Lady Coyotes lost a pair of games last week. They had a close game against the Nashua Lady Porcupines last Friday. They ultimately lost 36-29. Malta's wrestling team had an impressive showing last weekend at the Choteau Classic and Big Sandy Mixer. Trey Simanton, a 113 pound freshman came home the first place finisher at the Choteau Classic after defeating junior Trevor Moore the top ranked 113 class wrestler of Choteau in the championship match. All boys and girls ages 9 to 14 are invited to participate in the local level of competition for the 2015 Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship.
