    The Malta Mustangs were in a good place going into the winter break after defeating the Wolf Point Wolves 75-44 last Wednesday in Malta and defeating the Poplar Indians 69-36 in Poplar last Tuesday.     The Malta M-ettes ended the calendar year on the same note that they started, with pure dominance. The team defeated Wolf Point and Poplar pretty convincingly before Winter Break started. For the whole calendar year the M-ettes have not lost a game.     The M-ettes posted their first conference win against the Harlem Lady Wildcats last Thursday and did so in a more than convincing fashion. The M-ettes will face Wolf Point tonight in Malta at 7:30 in the Malta High School gymnasium.     The Malta-Whitewater wrestling team had a solid weekend going 1-1 at the Shepherd duals on Friday night and 3-2 at the Huntley Duals on Saturday. The Mustangs loss their opening team match against Glendive 27-42 but defeated Columbus 45-12.     Malta's underclassmen teams picked up wins against Dodson last Tuesday night in Malta as the Mustangs JV squad defeated Dodson's varsity team 40-14 and the M-ette C-squad defeated the Lady Coyotes 49-33.
