In the team's 63-13 win against the Plentywood Lady Cats, Malta looked ruthless jumping out to a 26-4 lead after the end of the first quarter. All boys and girls ages 9 to 14 are invited to participate in the local level of competition for the 2015 Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship. The local competition will be held at the Malta Grade School gym on Sunday, January 25th, at 1:00 p.m. There are separate divisions for boys and girls for each age group; age is determined as of January 1. Last weekend the Malta Wrestling team went to the Cut Bank Invitational and scored 56 points. The team was led by 113 pounder Trey Simanton, who placed fourth in his weight class.
