    The Malta Swim team took thirteen swimmers to the Harlem Meet, the team’s first meet of the season.     The Malta Mustangs fielded a pair of athletes for the 2017 Class B meet but the duo was able to fight through injuries to post marks in the final meet of the year.     The Malta M-ettes were able to medal in their second consecutive season as the team took third place at the 2017 State B Track Meet held in Butte at the Bulldog Memorial Stadium last Friday and Saturday.     The Boys State C Track Meet in Laurel concluded last Saturday and the Saco Panthers and Whitewater Penguins were present at the Laurel Sports Complex, which also featured the Class A State Meet.     The 2017 Girls Class C State Track Meet ran in conjunction with the Class A State meet last Friday and Saturday. Fort Benton won the Class C meet with a total of 72 points.     For the second consecutive year, the Psycho Sports Cartel will fly through the First State Bank Car Show and Hi-Line Drag Strip this weekend. The event will feature Pat Manzi, a motorcycle stunt performer. The death-defying freestyle motocross demonstration will feature PSC riders Ryan Hilfiger, Devon Hoyer and Travis Cady.     The Women’s Eastern C Divisional took place last Thursday and three Phillips County Track teams placed athletes that will go on to State this weekend.     The Saco Panthers, Whitewater Penguins and Dodson Coyotes were all represented in the Eastern C Divisional in Wolf Point last Thursday.     The season has ended for Phillips County golf teams as Malta and Saco both had golfers in their respective State Meets last week. Sophomore Kloie Marks was Malta’s lone golfer at the 2017 State Golf Meet in Shelby. It was her first trip to state as an individual having golfed in the 2016 meet with her team.
