Nick Oxarart has resigned as Head Football Coach at Malta High School. On Tuesday, February 28 he informed the Mustang players of his intentions. He is stepping down due to financial reasons. He states that he can no longer take time off in the summer to prepare for the upcoming football season and school year. The Malta Middle School Wrestlers took sixteenth place as a team at the 2017 Montana Middle School Championship in Lewistown last Saturday. Thirty five teams were present. Cordell Salsbery scored a team high 20 points for Malta, while placing second individually in the MMSC 90 class.
