The 2017 Marian Hills Golf Open Golf Tournament featured twenty-one teams despite the hot and dry weather conditions last Saturday, July 29 and Sunday, July 30. The Demolition Derby has nearly packed out the Phillips County Fair Grandstands in the past two years in Dodson. The Malta Swim team is headed to Sidney for the 2017 Montana Federation of Swimmers East Divisional meet this weekend. Malta’s team is expected to field 26 swimmers in a meet that determines who will make it to the state meet. The event starts at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 29 and will conclude on Sunday, July 30. The first Houlie Memorial Golf Tournament hosted 17 four person teams, making the event the largest event hosted at Marian Hills Golf Course in 2017.
