A day after winning the 2017 Ryder Cup 28-20 in Glasgow, many of those golfers and several others collided at Marian Hills for the 2017 Men’s Golf Championship at the Marian Hills Golf Course last Sunday, August 20, in Malta. The Malta Swim Team participated in the Montana Federation of Swimmers State Meet on Saturday, August 5 through Sunday, August 6 at the new pool in Lewistown. Malta Parks and Recreation will kick off their third installation of youth soccer as they set to host their second annual Malta Parks and Rec. Youth Soccer League beginning on Friday, September 8. Malta’s team is expected to field 26 swimmers in a meet that determines who will make it to the state meet. The event starts at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 29 and will conclude on Sunday, July 30. The first Houlie Memorial Golf Tournament hosted 17 four person teams, making the event the largest event hosted at Marian Hills Golf Course in 2017.
