The Malta Swim Team only has one more meet before the Divisional Meet in Chinook. Extreme Midget Wrestling took over Malta's City Hall on Monday, July 2, in an event that featured plenty of entertainment style hardcore wrestling. The event nearly packed out the upstairs bleachers as well as sixteen tables at floor level. For the second consecutive year, the Phillips County Fair Grounds will be the site of the Nile Sanctioned P.C. Saddle Club Ranch Rodeo. The event will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 5, in between the P.C. Fair's Indian Relay Races. Almost forty campers attended the 2018 Little M-ette Basketball Camp held at the Malta High School Gymnasium on Monday, June 25 through Wednesday, June 27. The yearly camp, held for youth third grade through eighth grade, taught young basketball players anything from fundamentals to skills that will help them in the sport. The Saco School Gymnasium brought Phillips County some basketball action on the evening of Wednesday, June 20, as the school hosted the Saco Mini-Tourney.
