    The Malta Golf Team participated in the Northern B Golf Divisional in Shelby last Monday. Sophomore Kloie Marks will see her first state tourney as an individual golfer.     With the track season winding down, the North-East Top Ten Meet gave local coaches a good glimpse of how their top performers fared against other top athletes. The meet was held despite cold and rainy conditions at Glasgow High School on Tuesday, May 2.     The Whitewater track teams flew into the cold and windy Malta Athletic Club Track Invitational last Tuesday, April 25. The Penguins placed seventh as a team with 32 points and the Lady Penguins took twelfth with a score of 12.     Phillips County Motorsports (PCMS) held their annual meeting last Saturday at the GN. At the meeting the board elected a new president and two Board Directors. Dan Stout of Harlem, who has been on the PCMS board since it’s inception in 2002, was elected as the club’s third president.     On Monday, April 17, the Malta track teams participated at the cold and windy Scottie Qualifier meet in Glasgow. Sophia Stiles took first place in four events during her first meet of the season.     Phillips County track teams were busy last week with both the Cal Wearley Memorial (CWM) and Havre Lions Meet happening in Havre. The CWM was held last Wednesday, April 5, while the Havre Lions meet was held on Saturday April 8. At the CWM, both Malta teams took tenth place with the M-ettes scoring 11 points in the Varsity Women's events and the Mustangs scoring 12 in the Men's Varsity events.
