    The Phillips County Ranch Rodeo is scheduled for Monday, September 2, at the Trafton Rodeo Arena in Trafton Park after the conclusion of the 50th Annual Milk River Wagon Train.     Another successful season for the Malta Swim Team came to a conclusion the first week of August in Sidney, Mont., as the swimmers competed in the State Swim Meet.     There was plenty of excitement at the 104th P.C. Fair's North East Corner Indian Horse Relay on a pretty warm Sunday, August 4, in Dodson. The event featured Indian Relay Horse style racing, Memorial Races, Chariot Races and even a kids' race. Black Rock, a Blackfeet team out of Browning won the event's largest prize, with over $17,000 in payout on the line in the events.     Every Malta swimmer present at the 2019 Montana Federation of Swimmers East Divisional Meet in Scobey last Saturday, July 27 through Sunday, July 28, earned a ticket to state. The State Swim Meet is scheduled for Saturday, August 3 through Sunday, August 4, in Sidney.     The vacancy at the position of Head Football Coach at Malta High School was filled on the morning of Monday, July 22, as Nick Oxarart agreed to coach the team for a second stint. Oxarart had been a part of the team as a head coach or assistant coach all but one season for 2006. According to a previous PCN article, Oxarart spent eight seasons as a Mustang assistant football coach from 2006 to 2013.
