    With the departure of former Mustangs Head Coach Jim Benn, the 2019 Malta Mustangs Football team welcomes back a familiar face in newly rehired Head Coach Nick Oxarart, who was hired a little over a month ago. Though Oxarart has been with the Mustangs as an assistant coach in 2018, he has coached the Mustangs to the playoffs in 2016 and 2015 as a head coach before stepping down in 2017.     The 2019 Track & Field season marks the end of the Dodson-Whitewater Harriers Co-operative. The Dodson Coyotes will feature four runners this season and one returning runner. Corbin LoneBear is the team's lone returner from the 2018 season, though Melony Fetter had run with the team in 2017 and with the Harlem Wildcats in 2018.     The Malta M-ettes Volleyball Team will have a new look in 2019 after graduating five seniors, who each saw time in the starting lineup. The M-ettes consist of 26 athletes and four managers this season. The team has also added 13 freshman and height to this year's varsity team.     If you have ever seen Malta Public School's Music Teacher Erik Engebretson cruising around town, chances are he isn't just getting from point A to point B in Malta.     Another successful season for the Malta Swim Team came to a conclusion the first week of August in Sidney, Mont., as the swimmers competed in the State Swim Meet.     The vacancy at the position of Head Football Coach at Malta High School was filled on the morning of Monday, July 22, as Nick Oxarart agreed to coach the team for a second stint. Oxarart had been a part of the team as a head coach or assistant coach all but one season for 2006.
