Despite having to add social distancing measures because of COVID-19, Phillips County 4-H held successful Beef and Swine shows during the 2020 Phillips County Fair. The events were judged by 4-H Livestock Judge Collin Gibbs of Miles City, who has become a familiar face in the past few years at the PC Fair. Gibbs has been judging fairs for over 17 years. After being runner-up in the past two Demolition Derby events held at the fairgrounds, Glasgow's Chris Moore won the 2020 Phillips County Fair Crash for Cash for the first time. "It was great," Moore said. "It was a good time and there were some tough cars. I am glad that they stepped up and kept this event going." In all, the Crash for Cash featured 19 cars. The last two meets for the Malta Swim Team took place - both divisional and state - which saw delays in Sydney, Mont., due to lightning strikes on the first day. The Malta Mustangs Football team and it's coaches had a busy week, hosting both the Future Mustangs Football Camp and Mustang High School Football Camp. Both camps started on Monday, July 13, and concluded on Wednesday, July 15.
