    After a busy morning beneath the clouds and spring rain, the American Legion began the weekend honoring our deceased by placing flags at the headstones of Veterans buried in the Malta Cemetery.     Malta's Jay Southwick was honored by the American Legion Department of Montana at the District Meeting held in Chinook on May 13. Southwick has filled the position of Service Officer since the passing of Dwayne Raymond in 1999.
