An attentive audience with opinions, thoughts, and preferences were in attendance at the Listening Session addressing the possibility of changing from a five-day to a four-day school week. Tuesday, February 13th the Malta City Council met at 5 p.m., in addition to the council members, also present were John Wright, Compliance Officer, and Taylor French. Steve graduated from Malta High School at the age of four, Janet graduated at age four, as well. Steve is now 17 and a grandfather. Needless to say, these two are indeed special. The day after Valentine’s Day, individuals from Phillips County, and one from Blaine County, decided to be a sweetheart and give the gift of life…blood. Fifty-five successful pints were donated by those who would more than likely remain anonymous to the recipient. They gave unselfishly and from one heart to another. He donated his 85th unit of blood; community-minded, he donated all his blood at the Malta drives.
